The Countess of Evesham is a restaurant boat in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire which cruises from the basin next to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre to Luddington weir and back.

We were tasked with re-designing and developing the website, the goal being to modernise the whole look and feel whilst improving the user experience for visitors.

It was key to make information clearly and readily available for users on smartphones and tablets as analytics of visitors of the old website showed that 50% used mobile devices.

Another key factor was to make the site easy to update and manage as there are many menu changes throughout the year. We have built a system which allows for the client to upload their menus for the year in advance, these will automatically switch out as specified dates are passed.
