As an online retailer and a new start up, The Hamilton Pen Company required branding and their own online store to sell their rapidly growing extensive range of pens and stationery.
It was important that the store was easy to manage for the staff from product catalogues, customer orders, customer accounts, payments etc. It quickly becamse apparent that a solution such as the industry leading software Magento was ideal for this project due to it's extensive feature list and easy of scalability for larger stores making longterm develpoment easier.
The website design is fully responsive to cater for the ever growing trend or users shopping from their smarthphones and tablets.
The branding needed to have a modern edge to compete with competitors and appeal to customers both old and young. The logo reflects this by using fountain pen nibs to resemble a crown whilst using a san serif font and flat colour to follow today's design trends.
